How to Reset Your Account Password
Forgot your Sora Google account password? No worries! If your parent or guardian has set up a recovery email in their Guardian Settings, you can independently reset your password using the following steps.

The first part of this process involves our Guardian Settings page, which you can learn more about here: Guardian Settings Page in Sora Home).
The second part of this process involves the student resetting their password.
Walkthrough
Access Guardian Settings in Sora Home
Ask your parent or guardian to log in to Sora Home using their guardian email.
Once logged in, they should go to the account menu in the top-right corner and select "Settings."
Verify the Recovery Email
In Guardian Settings, your parent or guardian would have set a recovery email for you. Confirm this email address, because it's where you'll receive the verification code needed later on to reset your password.

Head to your Sora Google account's login page (or any other website that uses your Sora Google account like Sora Home).

Account Recovery
After you've clicked Forgot Password? you'll be taken to Google's Account Recovery Page.
Keep this page open and open a new tab in your browser.
Recovery Email Verification Code
In this new tab, go to the recovery email inbox (or ask your parent/guardian to do so).
You should find an email from Google with a verification code:
Head back to your Google Account recovery page and enter the Verification Code:
Google will then prompt you to update your password or continue - if you've forgotten your password, go ahead and click Update password:
Set a New Password
After successfully verifying the code, you'll be prompted to create a new password.
Choose a strong and secure password, and make sure to store it somewhere safe in case you need it later.
Once you've set your new password, click Save password.
You can now use this new Google password anywhere that uses your Sora Google account to sign in, like Sora Home, Canva, and Desmos.
